Congratulations to Armada striker Hrvat who has won this months Player of the Month award with 7 votes. Hrvat has been a shining light in an otherwise dour entry into the ACSSL league for Armada, constantly putting in 100% and doing his bit at both ends of the field. Armada finally opened their account last week with a victory against Team Dev, where again Hrvat was at the forefront of activity on the ground. ACSSL congratulates Hrvat and wishes him and Armada every success for the remainder of the season.

Further to this, we have a new edition of Stati's Soccer Scoop now posted in our forums. Here's a sneak peek of this weeks edition:
"Fail to prepare, prepare to fail."
Obsidian will want to keep that in mind as their extremely tough run has come to an end, make no mistake though as Venomous
Shooters have showed they're no pushover as both teams now look towards this match on Saturday with the mentality that they
must win it.
The blockbusters don't end there as Round 4 gets underway on Friday night with the rivals clash between HellSpawns and the All
Stars, both teams are currently undefeated but that will change pending the result.
The remainder of the round pits Soccer Kings against an underachieving Team Devastation while Armada look to build upon their
first win of the season as they get set to host Carn United.
With important games throughout the weekend, the pressure is certainly on as the race for the top four intensifies.

KIC, Relegations and the Beginning of S3 |
 |
This weekend sees the completion of the KIC, which has been received with a lukewarm reception. Whilst it has been hailed overall as a success, there will certainly be some discussion held about the current format of it and how it can be improved next time around. However, we've still had some close games and with 2 rounds remaining, every team bar the Irish are still within a chance of qualifying for the finals. The greater picture will certainly be revealed this weekend as the business end of the tournament starts to unwravel...
The following weekend after the KIC sees the relegation fixtures for Season 3 take place. The 6 teams fighting for the 4 open spots are: Vapours, Armada, Team Devestation, Carn United, whom are all new sides. The current league members looking to hold onto their membership card and spot in Season 3 are VS and Radiance, who both survived their brush with relegations before Season 2 commenced. We wish all teams the best of luck, and may the best and most deserving teams progress. The fixtures for relegations, including what time and day teams are playing can be found here.

Season 2 over and the KIC to begin |
 |
Firstly Congratulations to SK, who made it 2/2 in Grand Finals with a hard fought 10-8 victory over HellSpawns, Season 2's minor premiers. They are a quality side who has now proved that beyond any doubt, with their second title success, following up theirs and ACSSL's maiden championship victory in Season 1. Not only that however, we also have SK Striker Roxas who has picked up consecutive golden boots, following SK's trend. No doubt helping him also pick up the Player of the Month for October (Finals Series) award. His stunning efforts on the front line, in the month of October, paving the way for SK's dominance. Hellspawns however, were not to be denied some of their own silverware, with HS Striker Zidane winning player of the season. The final vote tallies are now published on the updated Season Two Statistics page.
Finally the moment we've all (some) been waiting for. This Friday evening is the commencement of the Kral Intercontinental Cup, which will run for 3 weeks between the end of Season 2, and the start of Season 3. Everyone please check the recently updated Season 2 Two Fixtures to check the match times. Please also note that we will not be in charge of moving the fixtures if teams are unavailable. The respective ethnicities captain must contact their opponents and have the match moved to a time suitable for both teams. If opposition is unable to comply with request, match must take place at scheduled time. Any other queries contact me.
